THE SILVERBACK
Saturday May 19th 12:00 PM
Get ready for possibly the most difficult multi-sport event in the world. The Silverback is our signature race involving the completion of three continuous and sequential disciplines: whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and trail running. The kayaking leg will begin at the Tuxedo Hydrostation on the Green River and end at the first bridge on Green River Cove Road; totaling roughly 8 miles and will include the Class V Narrows. Next the competitors will transition to the mountain biking leg that takes place in the rugged Green River Game Lands over roughly 8 miles. Upon completion of the bike leg, racers will then have to run the 8 mile course. This is an individual event only requiring class V kayaking skills combined with technical cross country mountain biking skills and have the endurance to finish with a challenging trail run. This event is entirely self-support.
